Re: can't connect my phone or 3DS to wireless connection

All I can suggest now is that you give the HTC its own address. To do this you will have to go into its network settings and enter the following
      IP Address...192.168.0.100
      Subnet..........255.255.255.0.
      Gateway........192.168.0.1
      DNS...............208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

If this works do the same with the NS, with a 200 address instead of 100.

Re: can't connect my phone or 3DS to wireless connection

      • Hit the hard menu button on your phone and then choose Settings
      • From there, browse to the Wireless controls section and then choose Wi-Fi Settings
      • Whilst in the Wi-Fi Settings section, push the hard menu button again and select Advanced
      • Press Use static IP to put a check in the box and then enter the network settings given above.

Note that this will stop you connecting to wifi hotspots so you will probably want to use an app called WiFi Static, which should allow you to connect.

Try it first and see how it goes.

Re: can't connect my phone or 3DS to wireless connection

Ok now that you have established a connection to the router you can try this.
Connect the HTC to the router.
Go into the router settings and find the section for Address Reservation. I can't remember exactly where this is on the Sagem but you will find it if you look around the menu.
In the list you will see your HTC listed. Tick the radio button, give it a name and click apply.
Now disconnect your HTC, go into its network settings as before and tick the auto connection button so that you are no longer using a static address.
Try connecting to the router. If you can connect that's it, you can now connect to any Wifi spot with automatic settings. If you find you can't connect, just go back to the static settings and see if you can find the app I mentioned earlier.
