It looks like your only option is to return to BT.

Your exchange: SamKnows - Broadband Availability - Burton On Stather (SLBUS) Exchange

There are no LLU providers currently at your telephone exchange.

If you wish to check out the details first, I looked up the details for PlusNet last month and the same offer is still available.

Currently PlustNet can offer your parents a cheaper package than Sky for both Broadband & Telephone. Take a look. If you are working, you may wish to contribute something for your parents to help to encourage them to change provider.

Plusnet | Home & Business Broadband Internet Access & Phone Services UK

As I mentioned before though, please do look around. Do some research. Also check out 'Quidco' as they can offer various money-back deals.

You also need to be careful with regards to taking your current telephone number with you. This can be a pain at times.

Right.. (just so you know im 23 still living with parents haha, im not 14 or anything)

I've discussed it and they're willing to change anything aslong as i foot the bill, i've found a total broadband BT pacakge for 28 a month with calls/broadband, it has unlimited internet. So they can just cancel sky talk/broadband but keep TV, if it's any more a month i'll pay the extra.

      I'm eligible for that right?

As long as your line rental is with BT and not Sky that should be a relatively painless change.

      Re: Major Connection Issues

Sorry for any misunderstanding on the age: We don't know who is posting beyond some very basic information. It is often safer to phrase things in a way that can apply to either instance.

I specifically mentioned earlier that you should get a MAC code first. If you cancel the Connect package, then you could be without BB for a couple of weeks.

Using the MAC code, you can transfer to BT (or any other ISP) less painfully.
