A Strange Disconnection Problem help needed

      Hi
I am using a wireless connection in my home. I am having a strange problem of keep on disconnection.

When i am sitting in my room where the Router is placed, i put the laptop on the computer table, it works fine. The moment i bring the laptop on my laps, the signals drops and my call and internet applications gets disconnected.

After couple of minutes the net comes back again, After that when i put the laptop back on the table, it disconnectes and take couple of minutes again to get connected.
The moment the laptop os moved only 1 mm, the ne get jerk and disconnets
      and on on on on.

When i am in other rooms, the net give me smooth connection, no problem at all.
Even in the same room when i move from my table and chair, sit on sofa, the connection is all good.
I got my router, filter, Socket and wireless cards changed but same problem.
Any help in regards to this will be much appreciated
      Thanks

Do you have a cordless phone in the same room it is disconnecting in? Sounds like some interference on your wireless channel.

Looks like your body is causing some sort of interference. You are not one of those people who can make their hair stand on end just by combing it, are you?
Try folding up a plastic sheet and put that under the laptop, or use a dedicated laptop rest.

Lucky bugger if you are. You don't even deserve an internet connection at that rate.

What sort of comment is that? There are people who are cursed with this problem and the last thing you should call them is 'lucky'.
