    problem with the start icon

      problem with the start icon

      when i try and connect to sky via the purple S i get the following message: this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel.

      Any one know how i can fix this. I tried phoning Sky customer support, but they just told me to re-install the software. I tried this, but to no avail. I really don't want to have to spend 30 mins waiting for the call to go through anymore.

      Thanks in advance for any pointers...

      just connect using Explorer the purple "S" just takes you to sky portal which at this point aint very good (in my opinion).

      if i can not access the sky portal, how will i manage my emails within my sky account?

      I can't log that way anyway. Sky say they are experincing problems with the portal which should hopefully be sorted in a few days......

      The portal is only working for limited customers. It works fine for me and other members have never been able to access it. There is an issue with the passwords apparently!
