      Have you had any communication from Sky as to why it took so long?

      I would also get your details for a compensation claim together ASAP too.

      They sent me a text message at 11am this morning mate saying they are working on it and it will be fixed soon ROFL

      If nowt else it connected the fastest it ever has done at over 6300kbps but a week without it for a couple of hundred kbps wasn't worth it

      Seriously though, glad to see you back on-line. Do put that claim in though since you've paid for a service that wasn't available for a lengthy period. The result has not only inconvenienced you, but also put you out of pocket.

      Hopefully the jump in your connection speed is down to the BTO Engineers putting in new cable.

      Put it in a letter and send it via Registered Delivery. Give them 14 days to respond (put a date so that they do not think that it is 14 working days!).

      If they choose to ignore it, then the next sop is either Ofcom, Otel. your Solicitors or a small claims court.
