If you haven't already done so, I would get back on the telephone and ask nicely what the dickens is happening.

      Re: No DSL or Phone

If the task has been given to BTO to examine your line and repair things, then there is nothing more that Sky can do until they return to Sky.

I would highly recommend that you ask about compensation levels since you have not had any telephone & broadband service for several days.

      Re: No DSL or Phone

All I can consider is that you triple check your telephone in the master socket (perhaps use a corded phone in case a fuse has blown) and chase Sky.

Keep a record of all your calls and how much time you have had this disconnection for.

I've just spoken with someone at Sky and can confirm that there is a compensation scheme that can recompense you for everything, but you will need to provide some proof for the phone calls.

In the mean time, the queues aren't too long this evening, despite a warning message to the contrary, if you want to give them a call again. Please do get them to call you back again.

      Re: No DSL or Phone

On the first day i tried a BT branded corded phone in the master socket, replaced my ADSL Nation faceplate for a genuine BTO one and then a Sky supplied filter all this was before i even contacted Sky Scoobs.

They know it isnt anything to do with me as no engineer has been anywhere near our house or on my pole (ooer)

      Hmmm...

Getting back to your connection, I trust that no offence was taken as it wasn't meant to be implied.

Unfortunately I can only suggest that you keep chasing Sky. Do keep a record of all your communications though.

It is down to BTO to repair the fault on Sky's behalf. They should be sending some kind of feedback to Sky.

You can try the email system. You could also try emailing the executive team as well.

      Re: No DSL or Phone

No no offense mate, just letting you know what i had done before it contacted them

I have been in contact with them via twitter and email but they are no longer replying, although i guess they are sick of hearing that its not acceptable LOL

If you remember the last time i had a line fault the engineer replaced all the cable from the top of my pole right to the master socket so it is only 4 months old and doesnt have a single joint in it, this is why i suspect no engineer has visited my house or been up the pole.
