      Slow router sync speeds

Hello. I am having problems with my router sync speeds. I have been with Sky for 3 months now. After the router training period my speed was set to 14Mbps. My router would always sync at this speed and I always got near 14Mbps.

Now my router is only syncing at 5.6Mbps. (see stats below)

ADSL Link Downstream UpstreamConnection SpeedLine AttenuationNoise Margin
      5687 kbps 894 kbps
      29.0 dB 16.7 dB
      7.1 dB 8.0 dB

What could be causing this? Here are the troubleshooting steps I have done already:

Rebooted router about 1000 times (lol)
      Changed filter and cable
Connected into master socket and disconnected everything other than router
Done a BT 17070 quiet line test - all ok
Waited over 2 weeks to see if the problem would resolve itself

I am 785 meters from my exchange and I should get 15Mbps or greater via ADSL2+

I have reported this to Sky and they don't know what could be the problem so have passed it onto 2nd line. He said they might have to lower my speeds - I HOPE NOT. Any idea what could be wrong?

Are you currently in the test socket using no extensions? If not, connect that way and repost stats. Something is definitely not right there

Then it's either the router or the line. I'd give Sky a buzz
