      does reseting the sky router change anything important?

      for example if i call sky and tell them to put me onto a gaming profile. and to say if i they do, and i happen to reset the router, by holding the reset button for 30sec , will i still be on a gaming profile or will it be default.

      It will make no difference to gamer profiles. What it will do is wipe out any port settings you have made and return the security settings to default.
