      Moved router different IP address?

Decided to see if I could improve noise margin by connecting router to master socket.

Since it reconnected it has now changed IP address.

Before it started 92. now it starts 2.

I have been using skyuser broadband speed checker to monitor my speeds and before i moved the router it used to detect my IP address and say I was on sky and ask me to submit which package I was on

Now when speedtest completes it says

We have detected that your ISP is speedtestid=0. Your download speed is 11816Kbps. Your upload speed is 842Kbps.

      Please select your speedtestid=0 package:
Sorry! We don't have any more information about your ISP.

My noise margin is actually slightly higher on master socket but nothing exciting so moved it back upstairs again.

Have I messed something up now my moving it, my speeds are the same as before though? I have a couple of days of DLM left so just wanted to see if I could improve noise margin before it stopped.

I think it's to do with sky issueing dynamic IP addresses. Every time you disconnect/reconnect the router it is issued with a new IP address. I'm no expert but I think that's how it works.
