Unhappy SKY portal - still can't get in.

      Hi all,
have been with Sky BB for a couple of months now, and all in all, no real gripes to moan about.

However the one area I am concerned about, is I still can't log in to the Sky BB portal.

I'm using the UN/PW info that I received at the beginning in the letter outlining what was to happen (re box delivery etc etc) but I just don't any further than beyond the log in page.

I use a mac, but have tried via various browsers and even via windows, still no joy. This means amongst other things I still haven't got access to my smy email.

Anyone else still having access problems, or any ideas as to go about rectifying this. Am going to ring sky shortly again to see what they suggest as well.

Yep I have the same problem though the SkyBB system doesn't know I am active as BT haven't told them and the BT checker still says Your order is in progress. and when I spoke to SkyBB they say the same thing shows on their system even though they know I am connected.

I can still login to my email via my email client though

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

No Access To Sky Portal Or Sky Email

I have exactly the same problem. I have internet access but cannot access SkyBB portal or MySky with the username and password given to me in the confirmation letter.

I am also on a Mac and have tried to configure Mail (as instructions on this site) to receive sky email, but keep getting a password / username not recoginsed error.

I have also tried to set this up on my PC laptop with Outlook, but have the same problem.

I have contacted Sky support about this on numerous occasions and they have been useless, save yourself a phone call. Apparently the problem is probably the password, but the password reset system is also down and they have NO idea when it will be fixed !

      Regards John

      Welcome to the site John

I am sorry mate but if the staff have no other information about this problem its not their fault they can only tell you what they have been told, I have been calling them regularly about this problem and I still get the same answer and have been for nearly 4 weeks.

I know its an inconvenience to a lot of people but its not the be all and end all of your connection and one day it will be sorted.
