    BT Order Tracking

      BT Order Tracking

      Are BT good at updating their Order Tracking information.

      The reason I ask is that my activation (as stated by both Sky and BT) was the 4th October (yesterday).

      I'm not unduly worried (not until the date for the IPStream CEASE gets nearer) but I was wondering how good BT are at updating their order tracking info.

      At the moment I'm making no attempt to connect my Sky Router - I just continue to use my old router over IPStream and assume at some point soon this will stop working and I will simply swap over to the Sky Router.

      I'm also monitoring the BT Order Tracking but that still says that they will do it yesterday - do they ever update it with new 'due dates'?

      They do but don't rely on them doing it correctly, I have still got Latest update Your order is in progress. showing ion my account for my LLU move but it seems Last update 04 Oct 2006 is done daily.

      They do not add any changes to dates so if there is a delay nobody knows about it

      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      I noticed with my order tracking status that they tend to update it every 24hours - overnight.

      If you look in the order status page it should say when the info was last updated.

      No doubt about that - just wondering if they actually change anything (apart from the date last updated).

      From what Wheelie says, it doesn't sound like they do.
