      There is a difference between your sync speed and your throughput. Sky can only see your sync rate and your actual speed will be lower then the sync rate as it accounts for ADSL overheads.

      We need to see the router stats. The proper stats!

      The downstream is uncapped now. If you reboot the router at a quieter time (such as early morning) your speed will go up a little.

      Your latest speed test result is fine for your router stats.

      ta. How do you tell it is uncapped or not?

      If your noise margin is above 7db then you are capped. For instance in the first post your noise margin was 9db. It's 7 now.

      It's a bit funny how you have synced at the exact same speed as before.

      I have never seen the values for the downstream/upstream speeds change at all. I will switch off the router before bedtime and check in the morning if there is any noticeable change.

      I have also got an ADSL filtered faceplate fitted now. Picked it up from maplin when I went to town earlier.
