So are you are saying that the telephone line is NOT connected to the STB via the telephone port.

Just to clarify, there are separate ports for the Ethernet & telephone line.

With regards to the actual model, you should have the Amstrad DRX890. Could you take a look underneath to see if it is actually this model and which variation it is (there are 3 I believe).

With regards to your speed, could I ask you to post your full stats please?

Include in the post the up times for WAN, LAN & WLAN, as well as the line attenuation & noise margins.

With regards to the router, could you confirm the actual model to please?

In the top of the case it will have the manufacturer's name embossed. The colour and a brief description will help a little more.

The Sagem 2504, D-Link & Netgear DG934G all have a dull grey case with dimples like a golf ball.

The Sagem 2304n has a shiny case that is grey on top & black underneath.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
