I see that your router is talking to your iPhone and I assume that you're using your iPhone to contact this forum. Are you accessing via wifi or 3G?

It looks like a bug where the router has blocked all traffic. Maybe a firewall glitch. What I suggest you do now is re flash your router using the CD that came with the router.

Reflashing is basically replacing the firmware on your router with the same or previous version to iron out any data that may have gone corrupt.

You will find the router firmware along with a flash utility on the CD.

Hi guys still not home so havnt tried the re flashing thing but just off the phone to sky how have said that the internet has been working for the past 3 hrs which is untrue as I've got my mum to check. Does this confirm a problem on my end and not theirs?

What they probably did was told you the uptime since your router was last rebooted. It's early to say where the problem lies but I am leaning towards your router.

Just to finally rule out your PCs as the problem, open the router settings, Maintenance tab, click Diagnostics link, type in 87.87.253.161 and click 'ping'. A reply will show if your signal is getting to your exchange. If it does, type in 90.207.238.97 This is the Sky server address.
