      Is it againsed the Terms and Conditions to do a private server between you and your friends?
      There is no distinction in the T & Cs. I would point out that I have never heard of anyone being kicked off for running a server. I think Sky just want the ability to control it. I doubt if they would bother about a server which only had a few visitors a day, but once the visits go into the hundreds or thousands a day, that would impact on their network so would be stopped.

      ...and if you spend your time seeding (legal) files, maxing out your upload on P2P then that is allowed?

      You can cause very little damage to Sky's back haul with a maximum upload speed of 1.3MB which you are not likely to achieve anyway. What's allowed and what's not is a matter of common sense really. As long as you steer clear from things like child pornography Sky don't really give a flying fck about what you do with your broadband connection.

      But if the alphabets T & C intimidate you then you've already been told what it says in the book.
