      slow down at night

      im on day 3 with connect.
      came home today and did my speed test (i use i tunes ) and was getting about 6.5 mb download, great things are getting faster, however after 6pm all seems to have slowed down was only getting about half meg download speed.
      just seems to have slowed right down, even web pages seems slow opening.

      I'm in the exact same boat. I can only test early morning before work and after work.

      So far.....

      Mornings = full speed.
      Evenings = ISDN - 512KB maximum

      I am browsing the web and downloading a few game videos now at a snails pace but if I try and download the following test file (posted by vishal) it downloads at circa 400KB at any time of the day or night.

      ftp://mirror.ac.uk/sites/fedora.redh...i386-disc5.iso

      Try it and please let me know if this is the same for you.

      got same problem here also with connect, download off the ftp links can get upto 700kb, this time of day can get 450kb, but browsing the net is very slow, and often pages can't be loaded until i relaunch IE.

      Sorry, I must have done something wrong with the link. I will try and find out what I have done. Maybe someone brainy will get here before I get back. Sorry.

      Part of me is happy that I am not alone in this and that it seems not to be area specific.

      If anyone gets any answers or has suggestions please update this great thread.
