This is a discussion on slow down at night within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I have only been online two days but I am seeing these slower speeds in the evening. Early this morning ...

I have only been online two days but I am seeing these slower speeds in the evening. Early this morning (7pm) everything was nice and fast and even now at 5.30pm this seem to be a little bit slower. I shall see if things have improved after the 10 days.

It is very slow again for me tonight. Anyone called Sky about this specific issue?

I have a feeling the 10 days thing will have no bearing on this issue. I hope to be proved wrong though.

I've been with Sky since 17.9.06 on Connect & I still find it slow in the evenings.

To be honest I find it quite slow anyway (my line can only get 2Meg) but it does seem slower at night.

Thought it was just my imagination.

Just tried downloading from this ftp site

      ftp://mirror.ac.uk/sites/fedora.redh...i386-disc5.iso

I get around 500k a second, but web pages are extremely slow at loading

This is like it is scripted for me. Same time, same bat channel, same slow downloads.

Something isn't right. My opinion is that no-one at sky will be in a position to help for many months to come.

I think only a letter to Jimmy Saville or the assistance of Obi Wan Kenobi can help any of us.

      Agggggghhhhhhhhh!

I have entered an email dialogue with support. I have had a reply requesting my account details so they can call me back. I will let you all know if I get any answers at all.

BTW it is exactly the same for me tonight. Sloooowwwww!
