The problem with using extensions is that quite often the noise on them varies, causing the noise margin to fluctuate, which you will not get at the master or test socket. This can cause your speed to be set lower than it should be.
Any specifics I should mention on the phone when I call tomorrow? Might be nice to actually be able to watch videos out of 240p mode!

It is probably best to tell them you have made improvements to your wiring since DLM completed so now you know you can get a much better speed. If the first agent tells you you are getting as much as you can, ask to be passed to the CST, if they refuse, hang up and try again. Sky have some very good support staff, unfortunately they also have some bad apples who should not be doing the job.

You haven't been sacked have you?

If you have a good line and a good router Sky is excellent.

      Re: Can't get onto wireless

      Nah not sacked.

Yea if you have a good line and a good router sky is fine, but if you get the slightest issue with your line.
Your gonna be on the phone for weeks trying to sort it out. Unless you are extremely luckly and get thru to somone who will sort it out no problem, but thats very unlikely these days.

I often get calls from tier one, Such as "Whats an ISP?"
And often we also see "No sync issue, internet light off, changed wireless channel, no change"

      Its retarded, it really is.
