      Slow connection speed.

I've recently spoken to sky about my download speed and I have been told I am on slightly over 6Mbps.
Unfortunately this does not reflect in my actual downloads.
I have recently left BT broadband which would manage an average speed of 300-450Kbps. With SKY my average speed is now at 15-25Kbps. I'm not sure exactly how this all works but I'm pretty sure this does not reflect my 6Mbps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Re: Slow connection speed.

The better stats from the test socket show your internal wiring is interfering with your broadband. Buy, fit and use a filtered faceplate, this will cure the problem. http://www.adslnation.com/products/xte2005.php

From the test socket you should get a download speed of around 5.3 -5.6 Mb. Try a speedtest here - Sky User - Broadband Speed Tester
