      very slow speed between 5.30-11pm

      been having a problem with my sky bb conect i get d/l speeds of 260-360 kps after 5.30pm (had this issue since installed last yr .sky have sent us new filters for the phone line /new router in the end just stopped using the internet between 5.30-11pm as its pointless takes so long toload a page )been using a mobile dongle to connect if needed internet for work during these times ,but now thats is not workin and havin to use sky

      we have spoken to sky and they have said nothing wrong and after spending ages on the phone to them yesterday and telling me to removeor disable programes and reboot about 4 times they said do a virus scan as it must be down to a virus -scan was done no viruses ,what a shock
      did a speed check tonignt at 5.15 and was getting a speed of 4896 kps which is ok then around 6pm did another test and was 260 kps upload of 365kps .
      .on the router set up page it list
      Modem
      ADSL Firmware Version A2pD030i.d22k
      Modem Status ADSL Link Up
      DownStream Connection Speed 6592
      UpStream Connection Speed 448
      VPI 0
      VCI 38
      yet speedtests d/l 260kbs.
      i think my line is being retricted between peak hrs is there anyway to find out ?

      There is nothing Sky or you can do, if they say otherwise they are just blowing smoke up your xxx.

      The only soloution is to get your MAC code and move to a better managed network.
