    Recommended Non-Sky Router

      No difference really, increase in sync speed probably about it. Maybe a bit more stable

      I have the 7402x it runs the same firmware and chipset as the nx
      it just doesnt have wireless

      its a1 stable on easynet dslam's
      i have an uptime of over 30 days atm
      and i took the link down last time

      the first hop after your router if it says *.sky you need broadcom

      sky are rumored to be replacing the sky routers with n ones dont know if its confirmed or accurate but there were rumors going around

      They've certainly confirmed that they are testing N-rated routers at present. But as usual tight lipped until anything is ready to release.

      .....indicates you are on the full Sky network, you would need the alternate, 7800 series.

      Sorry for the late reply.

      Yeah I managed to get it via Sky, my line fault and complaint was going on that long that I ended up dealing with the Executive Support Team and they pretty much ordered I be given the details as the two routers Sky provided were crashing so often that it was proving hard to pinpoint the time / cause of the issues.

      If you press tier 2 hard enough they will forward through a request for the details but you have to be able to justify the request and also acknowledge that if there is a fault then you must use the sky router again (to check its not your equipment) and then they should sort it out.
