      Internet Connection unavailable

      Had sky broardband for a while now and have experienced no problems, but today when I opened up my broswer I got the message 'Your internet connection is not available, please try again in a few minutes'. I've restarted my router a few times and checked all my connections which appear to be fine. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks

      Any clues on the router i.e. are all the lights green?

      All the lights are green except the @ light is not on

      Is you phone working? If the Internet light on the router is not lit it means a) there is no signal on the line or b) the router modem has died. If you phone is out, call your phone rental provider. If the phone is working, call Sky.

      How many telephone sockets do you use?
      Is there a microfilter connected directly into each telephone socket in use, ensuring that nothing is before the filter?
      Is the router connected to the master socket or an extension socket?
      Are you using the short grey dsl cable that Sky provided, or running an extension telephone cable to the router?
      Do you have Sky tv connected to any telephone sockets?
      Do you have a test socket?
