Ok, well cheers for the advise, I'm going to buy a new router off ebay, as you suggested, and hopefully report back with my results later on.

      Cheers.

Ok had the router and done some testing, and nothing has changed, however now that the weather has calmed down my Line Attenuation has decreased, during the bad weather it raised to 32db, and now its at 25db, this leads me to think that the line outside my home could possibly be the fault.
If I wanted to get my line fixed would BT charge me?

If there is something wrong with your external line, then you should not have to pay to get it fixed. The difficulty may be in convincing them that something is wrong with it.
