      Things to looks for:

Speed: Don't go for the 85mbps adapters. Aim to purchase the 100mbps or 200mbps adapters (if you are transferring files between two computers or gaming, then you'll appreciate the faster speeds)

A socket to allow something to plug in through the adapter. They don't work well on surge protected extension leads. If you are short of electrical sockets, then this is an important consideration.

Finally: Search the Web. There are many reasonable places where you can get good deals.

      Happy hunting.

      Re: can you reccomend

The only things I would say about these is that they are not a very well known brand, Maplins seems to be the only UK stockist. They will also take up the 2 sockets in a double wall outlet which is not too convenient.

      Re: can you reccomend

There is nothing wrong with the 85 mbps plugs, they still give a great throughput and are fine for all applications I use them for.

Amazon have their max value pack at 42 at the moment and I have used them for a long while now with no problems.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

      Re: can you reccomend

the units worked straight out the box, yes they are a bit on the bulky side but they look nice!
thankfully they dont quite obscure 2 nd plug socket on wall plug.
      very happy with my purchase!
