      Slow speed -first post

      Hi there,

      This is my first post so any help would be really helpful. I'm currently getting really poor evening broadband speeds during the evening in the range of 0.4 Mb. I don't have a master box with a test function. I'm using a Sagem sky router and an Apple Airport express.

      I rang sky and they said i would just have to put up with it. But this seems ridiculously low considering what i'm paying.

      If anyone has any suggestions they'd be gratefully received.

      Connect = FAIL

      Only way of getting it fixed it to move ISP, simple as that

      Not much anyone can add. Connect is a dire product and is unlikely to improve. Find another ISP who does not throttle the life out of their product.

      Sorry if everyone seems so negative, but seriously your description matches the issues that so many Sky BB Connect users have. There is nothing that anyone on this forum can do to improve your connection.

      The simple advice is to change your ISP to another who can provide you with a better service in your specific area.

      Rather than repeat what has been posted in so many other threads, please take a look at this one:

      Have a look on SamKnows found in my sig to see if their is an LLU provider at your exchange.
