    Which Router

    This is a discussion on Which Router within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Just to add, what can be done about my dropouts? I mean I tried routers, wires etc, what else can ...

      Just to add, what can be done about my dropouts? I mean I tried routers, wires etc, what else can be done?

      Monitored the situation more closely today, the internet stops working sometimes, but the green light stays on, it stays like this until the router is reset (power off/on) also sometimes the light turns red, no internet, then comes back on within a minute.

      If different routers are dropping out, then that suggests a line fault. All you can do is call Sky and jump through the hoops until they agree to send out a BTO broadband engineer.

      I got sick of sky routers breaking down, so bought a billion router 7800 series with gigabit ports so network between machines is faster good wireless n range also
