      I think it the draytek even even supports MER ( as 1483 Bridged IP LLC), but I won't be able to try until late Thursday evening.

      but it was strange that it had a max download speed of exactly 2mbps while it was connected at 6.8 meg.
      Did you have it set to MultiMode, Auto, ADSL2+? Also was the MTU set to 1500bytes? This is one of the things that can effect throughput if set wrongly.
