That may be the problem if your internal wiring is causing interference.

      Re: Slow speed

Just came home tonight and it was back up to 8mb speeds but within 10 minutes dropped back to 1mb... don't get why it's fluctuating so much. So should I plug into the test socket again and see if it still does it?

      Re: Slow speed

The problem is that the interference from your internal wiring may not be consistent. It could be OK at one time then cause the speed to plummet at another. That is one reason we advise fitting and using a filtered faceplate on the master socket. The internal wiring cannot then possibly interfere.

Ok I'll buy one of those, is ebay the place to look?
Also isitme is it still worth ringing sky like you said and asking them to re-run DLM?

      Re: Slow speed

Going by your latest stats there is still room for improvement

With your attenuation you should get 14-16Mb

Although i don't see you getting that much with the latest stats

Presuming that the latest stats are from the master socket. 14-16Mb may be possible when connected but that is just an assumption considering i cannot see the stats

There is not much room for improvement with those thats. Chances are someone wouldn't be able to get DLM training put on.

Can you re-post your stats again from the test socket?
