      Why did Wireless Password Default?

      Hi all,

I tried all 3 PCs today and none would connect to wireless.
Using Ethernet, I logged on, only to find that the Wireless Password had defaulted back to the password that was on it when I had it....

I had since changed the password a few times.

      Any ideas why?

Firmware Update? Master Reset? Hacked? Snooped?

      Cheers, appreciate your suggestions......

Re: Why did Wireless Password Default?

It is unlikely that someone could have hacked your router and reset the password.

The normal method to reset the router to the default password is to press the 'Reset' button located on the rear of the router for around 5-10 seconds.

Just in case, has your router been updated recently? Some Sagems are being updated to v2.04 & being placed on MER instead of PPPoA.

Re: Why did Wireless Password Default?

I rang Sky who said it had reset, I didn't do it....
Sky also said that it wasn't an update either

      Conclusion :

The last 365 days were not real, they were a dream. I never changed the router password, and it is March 2010.

I was caught in a wormhole.
