I used to be with Eclipse. On their Home Pro product their policy is:

      * Upload is not included in the monthly limits
      * 11pm to 9am the bandwidth is not measured

There are many other providers that could probably offer other competitive solutions.

BT uses a traffic management policy that restricts Torrents. It also reduces your available bandwidth by allocating some towards BT Openzone, BT Fon & the 'extra' phone line that is made available through the BT HomeHub v2.
I looked at the Eclipse Business Bronze package and that looks perfect for me, may I ask why you left Eclipse in the first place? Was it due to anything bad on their end? Customer service, poor speeds etc.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to provide sufficient evidence for breaking the contract without a penalty, as my main reason for switching over would be just receiving a better download limit

I had to leave as BT (my call provider) were causing me a lot of grief. After several letters of complaint which were never answered, I needed to find a new call provider.

Sky has been excellent for my purposes, but then I have been lucky in respect that my exchange has their LLU equipment.

I don't have the link to hand, I'm sure a quick search could find it, but essentially you need to run the BT Speed test. It is often mentioned on this forum.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
