      Now Being Throttled 24/7

      Hi, My connection is now being throttled 24/7 on sky connect and not just at peak times...

      Anyone else getting this?

      i turn my router off whenever i can and barely download anything so it's not to do with my usage.

      Sounds like more over utilization of traffic management.

      Leaving for an LLU service would be your best bet.

      Even if you call and get through to CST that can only tell you when it will stop happening at non-peak hours which could be a couple of months.

      Hi there has been many who have left in contract and not had to pay anything there are lots of thread on the connect package. (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users and Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down? another thing you can do is check your exchange and see if there are any ISPs with LLU. SamKnows - Telephone Exchange Search also you could check to see if your exchange has been upgraded on Latest Sky Unbundled Exchanges on SamKnows

      Connection Speed 4832 kbps 448 kbps
      Line Attenuation 34.5db 19.5db
      Noise Margin 14.6db 22.0db

      With an LLU provider you would likely get around 12-14Mb

      With your attenuation you should have pretty near the full 8Mb. Plug into your Test socket if you have one and post your stats from there.

      Apart from leaving, nothing is going to help during the peak period, but you should do better off peak.
