      If you are going to call Sky, ensure you're not using that extension again and the router is correctly set-up at the master, or preferably, the test socket. CST will not be able to help otherwise.

      It might pay you to post some stats every other day or so, once DLM has adjusted things.

      Also the mods won't lock the thread unless it needs to be for other reasons.

      Hi All,


      Just got off the phone with Sky BB Support, it seems it was BT playing with the local exchange doing upgrades we think. Sky support people was superb, i explained everything, he went off and done some tests on line, came back mortified at the slow speeds of 0.56mbps down and 256kbps upload, he talked to his manager and they ran some more tests in the end they manually force update the speeds to 3048kbps down and 808kpbs up.Seems to be holding, so far..

      Download speed is a good 224 k/sec and upload speed is now 78 k/sec up from 62 k/sec.

      Well done.

      Do keep any eye on things though.

      It is strange that nothing came through from the bot which posts any known problems to Sky. This is something that could easily have been prevented.
