    Time/Date not showing in router log files.

      Time/Date not showing in router log files.

      I have the sky d-link router and the log files show no date or time.
      I am sure on my last router the date and time was listed with the logs.
      Should this be activated within the router setup, or does the sky routers not show this info..
      There is a tick box....(Include in Log)
      Router operation (start up, get time etc)
      ... but nothing changes when applied.

      hi

      my dlink was doing the same, firmware v1.1 and wouldnt upgrade so im to receive a new router tomoro.

      it took about 1.5 hours of me troubleshooting it with the agent but they agreed in the end to send another one out.

      what browser u using?

      My firmware is sky 1.11..
      Using Google Chrome
      Been activated for a week with no upgrade yet.

      Could you post your stats so we can see what kind of a connection you have?

      My stats been like this since tuesday after phone call to sky asking about DLM
      Uptime is from when I fitted filter face plate on wednesday.
      Stats were the same from the test plug.
      Router is from the bt main socket (with new face plate) with the sky modem cable.

      yeah chrome and firefox dont seem to play nice with the settings.

      the agent who dealt with me went home last night and reproduced the bugs i had and when we tried to upgrade it , we couldnt

      What router are they sending you, must be loads more people with the d-link using chrome/firefox browser.

      This piece confirms that you router wasn't reset last night by DLM.

      I would suggest that you take a look in the morning to see if the WAN time has been reset. If it hasn't call Sky to see if DLM has completed.

      I'm not sure, but the more experienced members might be able to confirm whether you are able to get more speed from this connection. Someone is CST would be able to check the full stats and confirm what is happening.

      I looked in my router on internet explorer and the logs page has the three tick boxs ticked..
      With Chrome they were unticked..still no time/date..
