    Slow speed

    This is a discussion on Slow speed within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; here is my statistics and im on LLU but slower on sky than i was with bt . Router Statistics ...

      here is my statistics and im on LLU but slower on sky than i was with bt.

      here is my statistics and im on LLU but slower on sky than i was with bt.
      I think that is a good indication that you would be better off on G.DMT, which is basically what BT use. You have a very long line and will not see any speed advantage with LLU, but you will not be throttled in any way. Call Sky and ask them to change your mode to G.DMT as you got better speed before on ADSL1 with BT.

      Thanks for that hope sky will sort this out..

      To be honest im just gonna stick with sky for the year then go back to bt this was a waste of time going to sky i mean unlimited broadband up to 20 meg some days i cant even get 1.5 meg will give them a call tmrw see what they say i might even just take a lose and go back to bt anyway...

      Ask them to change your line mode to G.DMT as I suggested earlier. That will give you at least the same speed you had with BT.

      Unfortunately that's the problem with ADSL technology. Distance means almost everything.
