      Re: Downloads and browsing pathetic

I was on a previous 'version' of the 16MB Unlimited LLU package, paying 10/month. I was told that I wasn't on the package at all (despite it listing it as so whenever I logged into the Sky homepage). So I was told that it would be 'upgraded' to the unlimited package. Since then the speeds have gone downhill. At the moment I'm trying to download the iPhone update and it's saying it's going to take 3 hours to download 670MB.

      Not impressed.

Prior to the 'upgrade' I was getting 1.6MB/sec download speeds fairly consistently. Now I barely see those speeds at all. My router always syncs at the full 16Mb speed. I ran a speedtest earlier on speedtest.net and got 5.5Mb.

I'm barely receiving a 2Mb service at the moment, let alone 16Mb.

Not good enough, Sky. This combined with the replacement HD box that keeps falling over is making me seriously contemplate cancelling the whole package and going elsewhere.

      Hi Kenco,

Might I suggest that you post your stats on a new thread as you may not have the same issue?

Also could you describe your telephone setup in the post (i.e. extensions, what is plugged in & where).
