Seemed to have re-synced about midnight. Once you've got the set of stats from the test socket, fire them up in the thread and we can advise from there.

      Re: Slow Speeds, considering changing

Should be at 8Mbps with a large SNR so something not right there - you're better leaving Connect either way

SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio = Noise Margin

is the line attenuation and noise margin good then?
      i am confused, sorry.
and is plugging it into the additional socket affecting the speed.

      Thanks,
      Josh

have left it plugged into the master socket for the day and here are the results:
Do you mean the test socket?
How to test your ADSL in the Master Test Socket

In your case with a low attenuation, you should be syncing at the full 8Mb with a higher noise margin. What you have indicates something is causing interference on your line.

No sorry, i used my master socket as opposed to my test socket.
Shall i try the test socket for the day?

and is the interference in my line due to me?

      Thanks,
      Josh

      Re: Slow Speeds, considering changing

You don't have to leave it in the Test socket. Just put it in, take your stats and post them, then replace the faceplate. When the faceplate of the master socket is removed, make sure none of your other sockets are working.

The interference could well be your own wiring.
