Will sky be releasing a new router as the sagem one ive got is rubbish. the signal is terrible and my laptop loses connection then connects :S my download speed is around 10mb and i only get 128kb downloading so is it becuase of the router

ive got an old bt socket which doesnt have a test socket :/

nopee main socket its plugged into everytime i ring them up, they say that they have maxed my line out

Well it's quite obvious you haven't in theory but with the current noise margin you have - I'd say you've either got a line fault or crap internal wiring (or a combination of the 2)

Download Inssider from the link below and use it to discover the channels in use in your area. Set your router channel to one as far from those in use as possible.
Other things you can try are setting the Router wireless mode to 'g only' or '54g performance' if you have that setting. Also try turning your router the other way up. ie if you have the power plug downwards turn it so that it is at the top.
If that still fails you can buy a wireless N router for about£20 and piggy back it on to the Sagem.
