      What should i be receiving.

      Ok so i thought i would ask here as sky just talk at you until you give in, All i want to know is if this is the max speed i can receive its a good speed and i don't mind it im just curious.

      Here are my stats.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 6143 kbps 825 kbps
      Line Attenuation 46.0 db 27.6 db
      Noise Margin 3.8 db 10.5 db

      I think your speed looks pretty good, this is what i'm getting after calling sky earlier today as they had capped my speed lower than yours.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 7607 kbps 714 kbps
      Line Attenuation 43.0db 25.9db
      Noise Margin 5.0db 8.5db

      They've not capped it lower, they've just uncapped it so it'll do what it wants at the time it syncs. The OP has a very low SNR (noise margin) which could be causing issues further down the line

      It is probably a bit high, you should reboot which will reduce your speed, but keep the line more stable. Even with a lower sync your throughput may be better.
