unscrewed facepate and there is just a a wire coming from it going into wall, there is no other socket..

Yep, There was nothing there but more screws, i guess i could see what's beihind them..?

Does your socket look like this??

If there is no split then you do not have an NTE5 so you will not have a test socket.
