      Returning To Sky

After months of issues with my current isp, i have decided to come back to sky, final straw was that they are increasing my package price again, once with the vat, and now again at the end of march, when i rang sky up to order my bband and phone, they have said i dont need to pass on my MAC code is this correct, also when my line speed was tested they said i would receive speed of 0.5mb!!, when i was originally with sky approx. 10 mnths ago i was getting speeds of up to 3mb, i know line tests are not 100% just find this strange!!!

If you are taking Sky Talk & BB on their LLU then you don't need a MAC code.

As for the estimated speed, they will often under-estimate the speed. If they over-estimated, then people would be upset and Sky would be in the wrong.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
