The support guy did say my notes mentioned I had received a Router in 2007 and thats probably why one wasn't sent!

I believe the reason I left SkyBB was around the time they started DLM. I recall my down speeds dropping by about 1500kpbs and support refusing to remove the DLM. I was getting around 14300kpbs with O2, I think my final figures with SkyBB were around 12200, all with the same equipment I am using now. I'll have to check my old posts. I agree with you that speeds will be down on O2's.

Will the new router be any better than this old version 1 DG834GT or shall I just stick with it?

Depends, if you get the D-Link/Netgear then it should be comparable. Sagem not so sure. They're all slower on the Wi-Fi though (54Mbps as opposed to 108Mbps on the DG834GT)

Re: Not Received Router - Have Managed To Login!

I posted a few weeks ago a warning to all returning users that sky do this. I didn't have the old Sky router as I had flashed it and used it to replace a family members router when theirs died. So, no Internet for a couple of days. However, they said it would be 3-5 days delivery, requested it on the Tuesday and it arrived Thursday lunchtime - so pretty good delivery service for it.
A had been away from Sky Broadband for about 2-3 years before I returned and that included a year where I wasn't a Sky customer at all (used Freesat for that year).
