HTTPS port forwarding on Synology NAS Box

      Hello,

I have a synology DS410 NAS box and would like to make sure the port forwarding i have setup is correct.

For the management of my NAS over the internet i need port 5001 (HTTPS for synology boxes) forwarded to my NAS.

So i have created the service Synology Man HTTPS port 5001 and TCP.

I have then gone into the firewall rule base and added this to allow all traffic for this service and send to LAN server with the correct IP.

When testing the servoce from the synology box it comes up failed? Am i doing something wrong?

Incidently i have tried this with HTTP using port 5000 (HTTP on synology boxes) done the rest the same and tested this and it works fine?

Is there something with the sky router here?

I have HTTPS 443 already forwarded for another service on the NAS and this works fine, but it is a default port.

Also how do i ind out what model my sky router is, i have had it for about 2 years now and its the one that looks like a small SkyHD box.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks guys.

There are 3 like that, if you look on the bottom you will see a label, where the make is shown on the right hand side. Yours will be a Sagem or a Netgear DG934G.
