Re: My Stats Look Normal For My Attenuation ?

For 10 hours uptime, those CRCs & HECs aren't exactly that excessive and would be somewhat expected with your delays at 8ms. Do you suffer any kind of drop-outs at all?

A change to g.dmt and maybe raising the delays (unless you game and want the delays at 8ms) would stabilise things a little, but doubt it's really needed.

Pretty impressive sync speed you've got for the attenuation.

No it has never lost sync.

I have changed it to G.DMT myself and the errors corrected was a lot higher at 7.4Mbps than on ADSL2+ at 7.5 - 7.6Mbps, I dont know about the CRC and HEC errors I never checked.

Pretty impressive sync speed you've got for the attenuation.
Thats good to know that my line is getting a good speed for the length then.

My question was not meant to be sarcastic, if it was I would have put a behind it.

      @ boothy_08
Although your CRC errors are not excessive, you can get rid of them by booting your router when the noise margin drops below 7dbs. This will drop your sync speed slightly, about 300kbps, but may actually improve your throughput. It is really up to you, if you are happy, just leave things as they are.

Have you taken a look at the physical connection of your line outside your home?

I would hazard a guess that there might be something that is interfering with it, for example a street light that is playing up, or a tree near the line.

If this is the case, then it is down to an engineer to fix the line or perhaps reroute it so that it avoids the interference.

It might be worth tracing your telephone line as far as your BT Green Box.

SNR will drop regardless of what's around it, it's just how phone lines work
