      Re: Slow Broadband connection

There has been a lot of discussion in recent days regarding a slow connection in various parts of the country. Can i suggest that you take a look at the threads to see if you are a victim of the same issue?

      Sky Broadband Unlimited 5-11pm Trottling

Sky Ulimited Broadband gone slow in the last few days

As for the error 300, perhaps someone else can answer your question.

      Going by that I'd say:

      1. You're on Connect
      2. You stuck on the Home/Office 500 package and not actually on ADSLMax (uo tp 8Mbps)

tbh it wouldn't get a lot better than the 500kbps you're on now as Connect is a horrid BB product

      Re: Slow Broadband connection

As already mentioned, it looks like you are on Connect and on the wrong package. Call Sky and explain your problem. They should contact BT to have you moved to the correct package and have your line reconfigured. It is possible you have had a fault on your line and the speed has been reduced, but going by your noise margins, the fault has been fixed but your line has not been put back properly.
