Restrict my kids access to router?

      Hi guys,

I have recently moved from BT to SKY with no issues at all. In fact, I am really happy with the service.

One thing I do miss however is the BT Home Hubs option to restrict internet accesss to specific computers at certain times of the day.

I found this invaluable limiting the amount of time my kids spend on the internet and xbox live etc.

Is there any way I can do this with SKY or can anyone suggest a program I can download that will do the same thing?

I have the SKY Sagem router by the way

      Thanks

You can set up access rules on the firewall to allow Internet access for certain times of the day

Thanks for your reply. Is this for a specific IP address - computer, xbox etc? I need the internet on all the time but only for specific computers

Yep, if you set an IP to a MAC address so they get the same IP each time you can set rules to limit the access each IP
