      i went live today im syncd at 18mbs but getin 1.5 mbs download lmao on speed test ping is 60 also i live in llanduno junction

      Im in Old Colwyn and I'm sorry to say it's still broken, if peak time speeds are improtant to you I would stay away untill its fixed. Outside of peak times the connection is great maxing out my line. The ping is ok now but the packet loss and very poor throughput are still ruining my xbox connection. In spite of their update on the service staus page Sky's level 2 cst are adamant that the problem has been fixed and I must have a new problem, thus making me go through all the same checks everytime I call them in spite of having an open ticket with them.

      I would suggest, as mentioned already, that you both contact CST and update your tickets. This should help to speed things along and ensure that priorities are set properly.

      The was recommended in another post on this forum and I guess it still holds true. So for anyone else still having problems, please call Sky, get transferred to tier 2 (CST) and let them know your problems.

      Whats the point in doing that if they know that there is still problems and they are fixing exchanges. They wont fix your connection will they

      If no one calls in, then they will assume that your exchange is not affected.

      The fact that others have already called in has shown that the problems that have been experienced are not localised.

      Whilst many people don't like to help others, it might help you to know that your exchange is receiving attention and thus your connection will be fixed.

      Some time back someone cut the telephone line leading to where I lived. I hadn't realised this was the problem, but had managed to get the BT engineer out on the same day (a Saturday). The destruction had affected 9 other homes. Everyone else had been promised a response on Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. By being persistent and speaking with the right people, we all had a normal service by Sunday evening.

      One neighbour whom I don't get on with anyway was really upset because the BTO guy came to me first, whilst everyone else was very happy.

      how do you know my exchance is, it just says north wales on the list suppose thats every one that is llu enabled??

      i knew of the problems but its only 3:25 and im getin 2 mbs download 52ms ping

      yeah so that exchange is defo affected and they should fix it yeh i have emailed them now anyway too it jumps all over place icould do it at 8 tonight and get 4 mbs now im getting 2 ,mbs

      I wouldn't say definitely affected but seeing as it's in the same area as other I'd imagine so - Sky should really put the exchange names on the Status Page to make life easier

      i see on the sky forum my exchange is affected and some one is on top of keeping sky informed but i have emailed not a good start for a new customer but i just hope it improves... its not effecting everyone is it and they can fix it.


      my mum is on 02 and they had to do something to that mind she is on the connect package too they had to upgrade bandwith last years and hers is quicker then sky unlimted for me here now and she lives down the road haha
