    very slow broadband at peak times

    This is a discussion on very slow broadband at peak times within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; i have sky connect. normally at peak times i around 1-2 megs but recently i have been getting around 0.08megs ...

      very slow broadband at peak times

      i have sky connect.
      normally at peak times i around 1-2 megs but recently i have been getting around 0.08megs could it be throttling from downloading to much

      Yes it could be, it could also be just because you are on Sky Connect, one of the very worst BB packages in the UK and a waste of money.

      Simple soloution, get your MAC code and use it to move to a better ISP.

      Indeed, I was on connect, ended up at 0.5meg, asked Sky loads of times to investigate or do something, no response, absolutely crap.
      Since moved over to BT infinty, still up and down but this time between 10meg & 30meg ! bit of a difference, Sky helplines are a joke, vote with your subscription, move on, Sky BB will die eventually.

      Sky BB will die eventually.
      Sky BB CONNECT will die eventually. There is nothing wrong with Sky LLU, provided you have a decent line.
