Question Should i update my router firmware

I have a sagem router which currently have 1.9 firmware on it, I've had the same router for 18 months and it works fine so do i need to update to the newer firmware?

I've learned the hard way, most recently with my ipad, that when something works well leave it be and only update when needed.

I don't currently use the anytime on demand but have been thinking about it, does that need 2.8? Why hasn't my router already upgraded it's firmware?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me

It will eventually be updated automatically. Apart from improved wireless security, there is little to be gained from the update. The update is not required to use Anytime+

'If it aint broke don't fix it' comes to mind. An old saying, but usually correct
