      if you sign up for the forums on think broadband they should have an opal section and you can ask other people there about the ping times.
      I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

      Unfortunately no dedicated Opal forum (I'm already a TBB user) but I did post in an existing Opal thread on the business BB forum. Worryingly there's some pisspoor speedtest results in that thread already, I'm not sure if by moving to Opal it'd be out of the frying pan...

      Indeed they are, however they operate independently. They may share LLU equipment and maybe use the same backhaul (one hopes it's separated into VLANs at the very least!) but there's no mention or promotion of TalkTalk residential services anywhere on the site (rightly so).
