    New to sky, check of speed (still in DLM)

    This is a discussion on New to sky, check of speed (still in DLM) within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; i dont think its the wiring though, a friiend of mine re wired the master socket a few week ago.....

      Regardless, you'd be best trying the test socket.

      Yeah when i get round to it, ill do it, just to be sure do you know if you can change the interleave depth to 4 on sky, or is it only 8? the max delays thing ? thanks

      The lowest interleaving delay offered by Sky is 8ms.

      That depends on the server you are pinging and also if you are getting errors on your line caused by your dodgy internat setup.

      Get the TEST socket stats and we can see what is going on.

      just a question here guys, can DLM be done before 10 days because it normally resyncs every 24 hours but it didnt last night, could this mean DLM is finished or?
      and here are the current stats :

      Connection Speed 5020 kbps 796 kbps
      Line Attenuation 43.0 db 25.0 db
      Noise Margin 7.9 db 15.0 db

      DLM's optimisation/stabilisation period can take 'up to' 10 days. Sometimes takes a few days, sometimes takes the full ten days.
